1993 - Hetero’s Journey Begins
Dr. B. Partha Saradhi Reddy founded Hetero, which has grown into a global leader in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Finished Dosage Forms (FDFs).
2003 - Expanding into the U.S. Market
Hetero entered the U.S. generics market through the acquisition of InvaGen Pharmaceuticals (which was later resold).
2007 - Camber Pharmaceuticals is Founded
Camber Pharmaceuticals is established as the sales and marketing division for Hetero’s prescription products in the U.S.
2010 - Camber Expands Operations
To meet growing product and inventory demands, Camber moves to a state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot headquarters and warehouse.
2012 - Ascent Pharmaceuticals Formed
Hetero launches Ascent Pharmaceuticals to support product development in the U.S. Approximately 20% of Camber’s products are now manufactured by Ascent in Long Island, New York.
2014 - OTC Division Opens
Camber Consumer Care is established to oversee the development and distribution of over-the-counter (OTC) products in the U.S.
2017 - Evaric Pharmaceuticals Begins Manufacturing
To further increase domestic production capacity, Hetero launches Evaric Pharmaceuticals, a second U.S. manufacturing facility in New York.
2019 - XLCare Pharmaceuticals Founded
Hetero forms XLCare Pharmaceuticals to meet the unique requirements of U.S. government accounts.
2021 - New Headquarters
Camber moves into a significantly larger facility in New Jersey, spanning over 200,000 square feet, to support its rapid growth bringing our total capacity to 350,000 square feet in the US.
2022 - Camber Specialty is Founded
Camber Specialty is established to focus on specialty pharmaceutical products, including generic injectable medications and oncology drugs.
2024 - Record-Breaking Growth
In 2024, Camber had launched 36 new generic products, setting a new organizational record.
